Today marks one year since I started blogging on here. When I first started doing the blog I was unsure whether anyone would want to actually read what I am writing but as time goes on I gain more and more viewers. At first I was shy telling people that I actually write a blog but lately I’ve become more confidence in telling people that I actually do write a blog because it’s nothing to be ashamed of. As time goes on I find both my writing and photography improving and I hope this continues to happen. One thing I have learnt over the past year is that sometimes you do need to take chances. Sometimes I can get to a point where I think I just don’t know what to write which is where sometimes I will say to myself it’s ok to miss a week because I don’t want to publish something that isn’t going to be good quality.
In the next year I want to gain a lot more confidence in what I am doing with my blog and being able to approach people more within the blogging world. I also want to continue trying to keep to a tighter schedule of posting every Monday as well as sometimes posting on a Thursday which isn’t always possible due to also working full time in retail. I also want to try and take some more short breaks which would have to be of a weekend.
There are a couple of reasons as to why I started doing this blog. One reason is that I wanted to share my love of travel with people and show them the places I’ve been to as well as why I’ve liked the places. I also wanted to be able to show people what there is actually to do in some places as some people including myself prefer to see what there is to do through someone else instead of just going to Google.
Those that have supported me in my blogging and continued to read my posts I would like to say thank you.
Hopefully I will continue to blog about my travels for a few more years even though I don’t really have much booked for this year yet.
