Afternoon Tea: ‘It’s A Little Bit Mad’ at The Lanesborough

When I found out there was a Disney Cruella themed afternoon tea in London I knew that this was an afternoon tea for me to experience. 

An afternoon tea with a fitting name of ‘It’s A Little Bit Mad’ which is based on the recently released Cruella starring Emma Stone. It can be found at The Lanesborough Hotel near Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge. This afternoon tea is only running til 4th August 2021 so time is limited. 

The dining settings for this afternoon tea are spectacular as you enjoy this in the Michelin starred restaurant Celeste under the domed glass roof with chandeliers hanging down. 

When it comes to drinks with your afternoon tea you have a small selection of teas to choose from. If you wish you can add a glass of champagne or you can add a special cocktail called Scene Stealer which is served at the table with dry ice. I chose to add a cocktail  you are able to see why they’ve called it Scene Stealer as it is spectacular with it’s foam top.

This afternoon tea certainly does spoil you with its choice of sweet treats as you struggle to decide which one to eat first. My personal favourite was the golden cheesecake closely followed by the battenburg cake. You are able to see special nods to the film with the millionaire shortbread served on an easel in a nod to Cruella designing her fashion pieces.  

This is an experience not to be missed at The Lanesborough Hotel.
