My TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

For every person who travels they always have certain items that they are never able to travel without for various reasons. Here are some items that I will always pack in my luggage no matter where I’m travelling to.

Multiport Plug Extension Lead/ Travel Power Strip

No matter where I’m going or how long I’m going for I will always take my multiport plug extension which has usb and usb c ports as well as 2 plug sockets. This enables me to only have to travel with one adaptor and also not worry about whether there are going to be enough plugs in the room to plug or charge any electronic items.

Packing Cubes

Most travellers will include this item as a must have as they really do allow the packing process to be easier and more organised. I use the away packing cubes which come in a pack with various different size cubes. Packing cubes are an ideal way to help maximise the space in your luggage especially if you are travelling with a carry on suitcase.

Noise Cancelling Headphones

These are ideal for any journeys to block out any noises whilst you are watching or listening to anything. Investing in a good pair of headphones is worth it for the sound quality as well the comfort of the ear cushions.

I currently use my Sony XM5 headphones.

Travel Adaptor

If you are travelling outside of your country with electrical items then you will need an adaptor plug for your electrical items. If you are travelling to more than one country it will be easier to buy a multi travel adaptor.

Portable Power Bank

Travelling with a portable power bank helps to make sure your phone is always charged incase of any emergencies. I like to have a power bank with a high capacity. If you are like me when travelling and take a lot of photos and video clips using your phone there is a chance you are going to run low on battery which is when the power bank comes in useful.

Luggage Set

One of the biggest investments for travelling is to have a good luggage set so that you aren’t constantly worrying if your luggage will be damaged. Last year I invested in a 3-piece luggage set from Antler which includes a large suitcase, medium suitcase and a carry-on suitcase. If I’m on a longer trip I will use my carry-on as well as my medium or large suitcase.
